Springboard Entertainment is led by Anita Crawford, who has over 13 years of history in the music industry. She has experience in several areas, including publicity, CBA retail and artist management. Anita began her career doing publicity for the Creation Festival, the largest Christian music and teaching festival in the US and when the Purple Door Festival and Creation West Festival were created, she was brought on to develop media programs to meet the needs of their diverse audiences. Anita also served as the Music Buyer for two Christian bookstores located in Pennsylvania and Maryland, broadening the customer base for the music department through special events, music parties and in-store artist appearances. After relocating to Nashville, Anita worked for Alabaster Arts, an artist management company, which, at the time, managed the careers of Jennifer Knapp, Katy Hudson and the OC Supertones. She then moved on to become a publicist for Word Label Group (a division of Warner Music Group), doing publicity for such diverse artists as Sixpence None the Richer, P.O.D., Kirk Whalum, Nicole C. Mullen, Mark Schultz, Shirley Caesar, 38th Parallel, downhere and Building 429, among others. In 2004, Anita launched Springboard Entertainment, with the goal of providing quality, cost effective services to clients on all levels.
